HAJJ REGISTRATION 1435 TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION AND ACCREDITATION

1. Prospective Hujjaaj, who intend performing Hajj, must complete the online application.
2. The onus is on the Hajji to ensure that he/she registers. SAHUC / Affiliated Members will facilitate or make internet facilities available.
3. A South African Citizen and (Permanent) Passport holder.
4. Minimum age of applicants will be 15yrs. (be 15 years old on the day of Arafat)
5. Any Muslim male or female between the age of 15yrs and 17 years shall be subjected to a deduction of 5 points per person. SAHUC reserves the right to change same should the quota for South Africa be in-sufficient.
6. Minimum age for a male serving as a Mahram will be 18yrs.
7. No other method of applications will be accepted for registration – on line registration only.
8. Applicants who register place themselves in a queuing system. Registration does not guarantee Accreditation.
9. Applicants must complete the online registration form in full and pay the R 200, 00 non-refundable registration fees.
10. The following method of payments will be accepted: electronic transfer or direct deposits.
11. Errors whilst completing the application process must be forwarded to SAHUC at the following email address: info@sahuchajjregistry.org.za
12. Applicants who are accredited will be advised via SMS and their names will be placed on the SAHUC Hajj registry of their status once NHAC (National Hajj Accreditation Committee) has completed the process.
13. By completing this application, you attest to the truth and correctness of the information provided and that same was done without force or coercion by any person or party.
14. The applicant must be in possession of a (permanent) passport valid for more than six months after Hajj.
15. Applicants are responsible to print the confirmation receipt provided at the completion of the application. This will include points awarded, reference number and pin number.
16. Time and date priority will be used in the event of a tie to determine preference in the accreditation Queue. A system of first time come first serve will be used.
17. The SAHUC hajj registry website will display the following information of all applicants: Name, Surname, Town of residence, Year of last hajj, No. of hajj performed, Mahram status!
18. Any applicant who falls foul of “whistle blowing” will be struck form the registration and following due process may be banned from application for a period of 5yrs.
19. SAHUC shall not be held responsible for any issue or matter in the process that is beyond its control.
20. The number of accredited Hujjaaj is subject to the quota allocated to South African by the KSA Hajj Ministry.

Completion of this form in all aspects is material to the consideration of your application with SAHUC to perform hajj in the year 1434AH / 2013. SAHUC does not guarantee that the Applicant will perform Hajj in the year of application. THE APPLICATION is subject to the rules and regulations as prescribed by the Hajj Authorities. A correctly completed on line APPLICATION will be issued with a score and a unique receipt number. The score awarded to the applicant, is NOT transferable and NOT negotiable, and any cancellation will revert back to SAHUC. The information supplied in the APPLICATION FORM shall be utilized for the “Hajj Assist System” (SAHUC National Pilgrim Database). The criteria set out above are subject to the quota allocation made to South Africa form the Hajj Authorities in the KSA.
